Delta's double transatlantic launch

Delta Air Lines has today launched two new transatlantic routes from the UK, including its first ever service from Glasgow. A daily service from Glasgow to New York JFK will operate during the summer, complementing its existing daily service between Edinburgh and the Big Apple. In addition, Delta has introduced the first non-stop service from London Heathrow to Portland, Oregon. The airline will fly four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, throughout the summer season. ‚??Glasgow is one of five new routes we are launching in Europe today,‚?? says Dwight James, Delta‚??s Senior Vice President Transatlantic. ‚??The new route improves our business connectivity by giving Scottish companies better access to American markets.‚??
