Emirates commences Dubai to Newark service

Flight marks Emirates? 12th US gateway and only year-round daily service between US and Greece Emirates has started a daily passenger service between Newark Liberty International Airport and Dubai International Airport, via Athens International Airport, the company said in a statement on Monday. Dubai-based Emirates hosted a VIP delegation aboard the inaugural flight to the airline?s 12th US gateway, which carried passengers from Athens and Dubai. Newark is the second airport serving the greater Tri-State Area, complementing Emirates? existing four daily flights from Dubai and John F. Kennedy International Airport. ?This new route will connect America?s largest metropolitan area and Dubai through one of Europe?s great capitals,? stated Hubert Frach, Divisional Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations West, Emirates.
