Cathay Pacific to Add Tel Aviv to Global Network

Cathay Pacific Airways announced that it will expand its global network with the launch of a new four times weekly service between Hong Kong and Tel Aviv, the international gateway to Israel, from 26 March 2017 (subject to government approval). The new direct service, which will be operated by Cathay Pacific's state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft, will provide greater convenience for customers and cargo travelling between the two cities, as well as strengthen Hong Kong?s position as one of the world's great international aviation hubs. Being Israel?s largest commercial and technological hub and recognised as one of the world's leading financial centres, Tel Aviv will be an important market in the ?One Belt, One Road? initiative, offering tremendous potential for cargo business.
